THE WHAT? The Anti-Defamation League has honored L’Oréal Chairman, Jean-Paul Agon with its Courage Against Hate Award in recognition of his longstanding commitment to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion within the French beauty company.

THE DETAILS The award was presented during the virtual Never is Now Summit on Antisemitism and Hate. Agon also delivered the keynote address.

THE WHY? ADL CEO Jonathan A Greenblatt explains, “Jean-Paul Agon exemplifies corporate responsibility though his relentless effort to dismantle antisemitism and hate on a global level. Jean-Paul and L’Oréal understand the importance of education to help reduce bias and hate and have partnered with us on a multi-year initiative to fight against antisemitism through education.”
