THE WHAT? Conde Nast has announced that it will be moving its London offices from their iconic Hanover Square location, according to a report published by The Guardian. The published will relocate from Vogue House to the Adelphi building in Embankment by next January.

THE DETAILS The seven-storey building is owned by the Church of England and has been home to the publisher for six decades.

THE WHY? While an email, sent to staff and seen by The Guardian, claims that the space no longer meets the company’s needs, the move could also be a cost-cutting exercise. The publisher has cut two issues of US Vogue a year as well as taking some titles entirely online. Post pandemic, London office space is in less demand, making it possible to pick up a bargain.
