THE WHAT? Chanel has come under fire from consumers after its first ever advent calendar failed to meet expectations, according to a report published by Fox Business.

THE DETAILS One TikTok user posted a video revealing the underwhelming contents of the US$825 calendar, which include some sample-sized cosmetics, stickers, a magnet and an empty dust bag.

In a follow-up post, @eliseharmon claimed that the French fashion house had blocked her.

THE WHY? Chanel did not respond to Fox Business’ request for a comment but we imagine the criticism was both unexpected and unwelcome.
