THE WHAT? BASF Personal Care Europe has implemented a price increase of RSPO-certified oleoderivative.

THE DETAILS The company has stated it is ‘forced’ to significantly increase the Mass Balance premium for all palm (kernel) oleoderivatives in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.  

THE WHY? According to a press release, the company has been ‘confronted’ with a significant cost increase for RSPO-certified palm and palm kernel oil, as well as their respective derivatives.
