THE WHAT? Space NK is set to offer remote make-up advice via a new digital platform named #TogetherAtHome, according to a report published by WWD.

THE DETAILS The UK beauty retailer will offer masterclasses in wellness and skin care as well as one-on-one consultations via Zoom from April 17.

According to Emma Simpson Scott, CMO, per WWD, make-up queries have soared some 360 percent since the onset of lockdown.

THE WHY? Speaking to WWD, Margaret Mitchell, Chief Merchant, said that the growth in make-up related queries was due both to the rise of video communications and a growing curiosity and willingness to experiment as those stuck at home seek to alleviate the boredom.
