THE WHAT? Ermenegildo Zegna N.V. has announced the appointment of Lelio Gavazza to the newly created CEO role at TOM FORD FASHION. The appointment will take effect from September 18, 2023.

THE DETAILS? Gavazza will report directly to Ermenegildo “Gildo” Zegna, Chairman and CEO of the Zegna Group. His responsibilities will include the end-to-end business of TOM FORD FASHION, from collection development and merchandising to production and distribution. Gavazza’s role will also entail collaboration with Guillaume Jesel, President and CEO of TOM FORD, to align the brand’s luxury strategy.

THE WHY? With over twenty years of luxury industry experience, Gavazza is expected to bring invaluable leadership and business acumen to TOM FORD FASHION. The appointment is part of the company’s strategy to strengthen the brand’s position in the global luxury fashion sector.
