THE WHAT? Aurelius Group has been named as the latest suitor for Natura &Co’s The Body Shop. The Brazilian beauty behemoth is said to be working with Morgan Stanley on a potential sale and could reach a provisional agreement with one of the interested parties by the end of the month.  

THE DETAILS Sky News reports that the Lloyds Pharmacy owner is vying with private equity firm Epiris and Elliott Advisors to purchase the ethical beauty brand.

THE WHY? All parties declined to comment when contacted by Sky News. Natura &Co announced a search for ‘strategic alternatives’ for The Body Shop in August but has yet to confirm whether the British beauty chain founded by Anita Roddick is up for sale.
