THE WHAT? Prada is said to be considering listing on the Milan Bourse. The Italian fashion designer is currently listed in Hong Kong and is mulling a dual listing on its home turf.
THE DETAILS According to a report published by Reuters, Prada CEO, Andrea Guerra, a dual listing is not a ‘priority’ for the luxury label. The brand is focused on organic growth and will not be seeking out mergers or acquisitions in the next three to five years.
THE WHY? A dual listing would broaden Prada’s investor base, Reuters reports, granting access to investment funds that are limited to European and US stocks.
