THE WHAT? Together with JCDecaux Transport, Hong Kong International Airport has announced the launch of its first metaverse. The campaign kicked off on July 6 and runs through August 31, 2023 offering brands an immersive virtual world through which they can engage international visitors and local travellers.
THE DETAILS Airport users will be able to enjoy games powered by Web3 at the corresponding booths. Visitors can pass through three different scenes: the Departure Hall, Sky Bridge and Boarding Gate to uncover the instructions for various games.
THE WHY? By gamifying the airport environment, the transport operator is hoping to provide visitors with a new way to immerse themselves in a virtual world and engage with brands like never before.
