THE WHAT? Bed, Bath & Beyond has announced that its Chief Customer and Technology Officer, Rafeh Masood will leave the company on December 2, 2022.

THE DETAILS The CTO’s departure follows a data breach revealed by the US retailer last week whereby an employee fell victim to a phishing scam.

THE WHY? The company said in a regulatory filing, per Reuters, that Masood did not quit as a result of any disagreement with Bed, Bath & Beyond on any matter related to the company’s operations, practices or financial statements.
