THE WHAT? IFF, a global industry leader in food, beverage, home and personal care, and health, has partnered with the environmental NGO Bellona to undertake the Norwegian Marine Restoration (NoMaRe) project.

THE DETAILS The initiative focuses on restoring approximately 5,000 square kilometres of seaweed forests in northern Norway, which have been detrimentally affected by invasive sea urchin predation.

THE WHY?   The collaboration between IFF and Bellona is part of IFF’s broader commitment to environmental and social responsibility, as detailed in its Do More Good Plan and Sustainable Solutions roadmap.
