THE WHAT? AmorePacific scooped the Market Trailblazer award at the RE100 Leadership Awards, held during Climate Week NYC.

THE DETAILS Organized by The Climate Group, the award recognises companies that  ‘drive market changes, communicate transparently about the challenges and solutions related to transitioning to renewable energy, and collaborate with various stakeholders to lead the change’.

THE WHY? The first K-beauty firm to join the RE100, AmorePacific has a roadmap in place to convert to 100 percent renewable energy across all its business locations by 2025. A spokesperson for the manufacturer of Laneige, commented, “We will continue to address the global climate crisis faced by humanity and carry on our efforts to coexist with nature through our sustainable management goal, A MORE Beautiful Promise.”
