Stella McCartney names former L’Oreal executive as new CEO

THE WHAT? Stella McCartney has named Amandine Ohayon as CEO, effective immediately and succeeding Gabriele Maggio who has held the role for the past four years.

THE DETAILS According to a report published by Luxury Daily, Ohayon will be based in London and report directly to the Board. She joins from Pronovias, where she has been CEO since 2018. Prior to that, she spent some 18 years at L’Oreal across a number of senior roles, including MD, UK & Ireland for the French beauty giant’s Luxe division.

THE WHY? Founder of the fashion label, Stella McCartney told Luxury Daily, “I am delighted to welcome Amandine as CEO of my Maison. Her leadership and wealth of experience across businesses and geographies will be strong assets to build a brilliant future for the company.
